My journey into mind-body wellbeing and emotional healing did not begin in the therapy world — it began in the corporate world.
For many years, I worked within high-pressure corporate IT environments, where performance, productivity and constant demands often came at the expense of wellbeing, authenticity and human connection. Over time, I found myself increasingly questioning whether the environments I was working in aligned with my own values, ethics and integrity. Whilst the work challenged me professionally, I began to feel deeply aware of the impact chronic stress, emotional pressure and disconnection can have on both the mind and body.
Alongside this, I naturally became someone that family, friends and colleagues turned to for support during difficult periods in their lives — whether navigating stress, emotional overwhelm, trauma, personal growth or major life transitions. Supporting others in this way gradually became more than something I simply did naturally; it became something I felt deeply called towards.
A major turning point in my own journey came around six years ago, when I suffered a serious back injury that completely changed the course of my life. For almost a year, I struggled to carry out even the most basic daily functions. I was advised that long-term high-strength medication and potential surgery were likely to be my only options.
Something within me knew I needed to explore a more holistic and integrative path alongside conventional approaches. That experience led me into a much deeper understanding of the connection between stress, trauma, the nervous system, emotional health and physical wellbeing.
What began as a personal search for healing and resilience gradually evolved into a complete life shift.
Today, through Kensho MindBodhi, I bring together both professional training and lived experience to support others in understanding the mind-body connection, regulating the nervous system, processing emotional stress and reconnecting with themselves in a safer, more grounded and compassionate way.
My approach is trauma-informed, person-centred and rooted in the understanding that healing is not about “fixing” people, but about creating the safety, awareness and support needed for the mind and body to begin working together again.
My practice is informed by polyvagal theory, somatic practice and autonomic nervous system regulation, ensuring that all work is paced appropriately.
My professional training includes:
Holistic Life Coaching
Stress Management Consultation
Trauma-Informed Emotional Processing
Nervous System Regulation & Polyvagal Theory
Emotional Resilience & Mind-Body Wellbeing Approaches
Naturopathic Healing & Remedies.
At Kensho MindBodhi, I believe that meaningful healing often begins with feeling seen, heard and safe enough to slow down and reconnect with yourself — mentally, emotionally and physically.
